With honourable mention for Dr Richardson; the Gazette comments that the scientific body has shown impartiality as regards nationality, as well as highlighting the merits of John Franklin; copy of announcement by the reporter of the Commission, M. Jomard, referring to the achievements of Franklin's second Arctic Land Expedition in 1827, the voyage being known in all Europe.
