DescriptionAnticipates that Garry will have received information from their mutual friend Franklin.  Franklin and Kendall have returned.  Describes the current building and limited set of musical instruments in use.  Lists the number of different accents and voices amongst these present. Envisages future development of this land, ploughed by Watt's and Boulton's engines.  Refers to presence of coal and iron. Describes lake survey, and local fauna and flora.  Observes that Franklin has regained serenity, though still sad at times, following the death of his wife.
