Refers to forthcoming “Drawing Room” - wife obliged to attend. Refers to Mary receiving the Sellwoods. Will see them on return to London: offers to meet at coach office and escort to Aunt Margaret’s. Boy at Friskney trying to chatter. Hopes to visit Sheerness: asks about steamers from Chatham.
