Letter from Louisa Thomson to Eleanor Anne Porden, relating to arrangements for the proposed meeting of Eleanor and Captain John Franklin

Description
On it not being Doctor Thomson's fault that Captain Franklin was deprived of the pleasure of dining with her on Tuesday; it is almost certain that he will make another voyage to the Polar regions, and he would be happy to facilitate an interview whenever convenient to both parties.
Text in letter only dated Thursday evening, but endorsed "Mrs Doctor Thomson to Eleanor, Jany. 6 1819"

My dear Miss Porden
You will perceive by the enclosed that it was not Doctor T’s fault that Capt. Franklin was deprived of the pleasure of dining with you on Tuesday – It is almost certain that he will make another voyage to the Polar Regions, and he shall be happy to facilitate an interview with you whenever it may be convenient to both parties – we hope that Mrs Porden is tolerably well this Evening and I remain with compliments to her and Mr Porden.
