Description	Mary Anne Kendall (1808-1869) was the eldest daughter of Joseph Kay and his wife Sarah Henrietta (nee Porden) and the niece of Sir John Franklin and his first wife Eleanor Anne (nee Porden); she married Edward Nicholas Kendall on 8 May 1832 at St Alphage's Church, Greenwich, Kent; they had 4 children: Mary Anne (died 1858), Edward Kay (1833-1894), Franklin Richardson (1839-1907) and Robert Sinclair (died 1841).
