Administrative HistoryIsabella Cracroft (1816-1844) was the daughter of Thomas Cracroft and his wife Isabella (nee Franklin). She was the niece of the explorer Sir John Franklin and the cousin of Eleanor Isabella Franklin. She went on to marry Captain Thomas Saumares de Lacy of the East India Company on 10 March 1840, but she unfortunately died in India in Feb 1844.
