TitleDeed to levy a fine (and typewritten transcript) by John Rome the elder of Boston, Mary his wife, and John Rome the younger, their son to William Bryan of Shardlow, John Porter of Findern, Thomas Ashmore of Findern, and Thomas Holden of Findern, in consideration of £750, of a messuage of tenement in Findern and croft adjoining and closes called Staynyard, Pooles, Hunger Hill Close, towns and Close Farth, Burrow Close, New Close, Brooke Meadow and Black Moore Meadow in Findern and Mickleover, allotted to John Rome the elder upon the enclosure of part of the fields of Findern; also twelve acres of arable land dispersed in the open fields of Findern and two beast gates in the Towne Hayes; also a close called Little Derby Close and the Greate Thurstans, 40 acres by estimation; and also the tithes of corn arising from the closes called Great Thurstans and Master Flatts and a close called Brooke Close, 32 acres by estimation, purchased by John Rome of William Watts the Black Moore Meadow to be held upon the special trust that from the rents of the close bread will be distributed to the poor of the parish of Findern between All Hallowday and Lady Day yearly according to the direction and appointment of the last will and testament Samual Wilson Cooke of London 25 Apr
