Ancient Borough of Derby
Administrative History
The ancient Borough of Derby was incorporated as a municipal borough council under the Municipal Corporations Act of 1835. This collection relates to the ancient borough. Follow the second link below for collections relating to the successors of the borough, including the county borough council from 1889 and city council from 1977, becoming a unitary authority in 1997.
