Description
To follow lease by Wotton Burchinshaw Thomas of Chesterfield, gentleman and Peter Wood of Mansfield (Notts.), hosier (trustees of the will of Thomas Pennington Lucas of Warsop Park (p.Pleasely), deceased), in consideration of £840, to Bernard Lucas of Chesterfield, gentleman, of a dwelling house with outbuildings, orchards etc. at Hasland wherein Thomas Lucas, father of the said Thomas Pennington Lucas, formerly resided, and which was built upon a parcel of land known as George Croft, with the remainder of the said croft and the barn thereon, and the Green Closes (1a. 3r. 28p.), the north end of an allotment at Hasland Green, No.42 on the inclosure map, with the Wiver Croft Road now laid to the said allotment and the site of a cottage and garden adjoining the same (1r. 1p), the site of a cottage and garden at Hasland (20p.).
With conveyance by Hannah Shaw of Barlow, widow and administrator of John Shaw of Barlow, deceased, to William
Paitson of Chesterfield, gentleman, of the said dwelling house, George Croft and barn, for the remainder of a tem of 500 years, in trust for Bernard Lucas to attend the inheritance. Covenant for the production of title deeds with schedule of deeds 1738-1812.
