DescriptionBy Thomas Nayler of Mansfield Woodhouse, esq., to John Lee of Chancery Lane (Mx.), gentleman, of a messuage at Newbold, with outbuildings and closes known as Calf Croft (3r. 4p.), Well Croft (2a. 3r.), Wheat Croft with adjoining Pingle (5a. 2r. 21p.), Seven Swaith (1a. 23p), Three Acre (3a. 3r. 32p.), Far Lande or Flour Lande (1a. 2r. 17p), Upper Little Goswill (1a. 2r. 24p), Bank or Bank Head (1a. 3r. 15p.), Far Bank (4a. 3r. 23p), Upper Nar Bank (2a. 1r. 21p), Nether Nar Bank (2a. 1r. 16p.), Great Bank (6a. 1r. 4p), Barn Yard (3a. 5p.), Stooper (4a. 30p), Great Goswell (3a. 3r. 14p.), Little Goswell (1a. 2r. 29p), Little Bank (4a 1r 24p), Forkleys and Brockhill Sick or Brockwell Sick (4a 33p), Great New Close (4a. 30.), in the tenure of Mary Wilson, a close at Hasland or Boythorpe called Great Pease Croft with stable or hovel thereon land a small parcel of ground, formerly part of Pan Moor Pingle but now part of Great Pease Croft in the tenure of Bernard Lucas, a moiety of a dwelling house in Chesterfield in Gluman Gate, now two dwellings with a barn fold and garden in the tenure of Joseph Cartledge with closes at Dunston belonging thereto, known as little Dunston Field New Close and the Haye (24a.), and a parcel of land in a field at Newbold called the Heye (2a.), but now called the Lane, Steel Yard, Grase Close, Pit Close, Near Backside, Far Backside, Backside Bottom and Great Haye (24a.), and a close at Newbold called Little Heye (2a), with closes at Stone Gravels known as well or Bagshaw Close, Stone Gravel Close or Lime Yard Close, and Revells Close (12a. 3r) in the tenure of Benjamin Fletcher and two closes at Hasland Lane called Stony Bridge Close (3a. 2r. 29p) in the tenure of Bernard Lucas.
