Administrative HistoryCatherine Mary Pell was an artist who worked for Royal Crown Derby. She appears to have been born as Catherine Mary Pell-Coggins in 1916, in Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire, and by 1921 was living in Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, with her parents. She was a member of the Burton art club and in 1955 was elected as a member of the Society of Staffordshire Artists under the name C M Pell. By 1970 she was living in Little Eaton, where she painted these watercolours. Catherine Mary Pell-Coggins died in Derby in 1990.
