| Description | To his servant Susannah Lenthall, the bed and bedding, dressing table, looking glass and 2 chairs in the room above the cellar; to the said Susannah and to Paul Singleton, all his wearing apparel in equal shares; to Paul Singleton, £5; to Susannah Lenthall, £50; to John, George, Thomas, Barnabas and Christopher Gardom and Mary wife of Thomas Slater (children of his brother John Gardom deceased) £40 each; to the children of his nephew Hugh Gardom deceased (son of the said John) £40 in equal shares; to his niece Elizabeth, wife of Jeremiah Saunderson, £30; to Sarah, wife of Robert Holmes junior of Baslow, £30; to his niece [?] wife of [?] Mason of Stoney Middleton, miner, £30; to the children of John Blockley of Baslow deceased, £60 in equal shares; to Elizabeth and Abigail, children of his late nephew John Grundy of Baslow, £40 each; to William and Thomas, sons of his nephew Thomas Gardom of Baslow, £100 each; to his nephew Christopher Gardom of Sheffield [?]; to the daughter of his nephew Robert Grundy of Curbar deceased, £30; to his friend Alexander Bagshaw of Bubnell, £20; to Thomas Mason of Brampton, the lease he made to William of the dwelling houses, land etc. at Cutthorpe, with the unexpired term thereof; the residue of his personal estate to his nephew Thomas Gardom of Baslow, cordwainer, and William Gardom of Baslow, schoolmaster, with all his messuages, lands etc. at Ashgate and all other his real estate, in equal shares; whereas Alexander Bagshaw is indebted to him in £160, the money to remain in Bagshaw's hands at interest for 3 years after his death; Thomas and William to be executors.
