Description
To Arthur Wass a silver 6d; to her nephews Samuel, Ralph and William Wass, a silver 6d each; to William Steaple of Aldward, £5; to Jane, wife of Richard Willson of Ashbourne, 40 shillings for her own use; to Edward Allen whenever he returns home, 1 shilling; to Robert, son of Samuel Wass £3; to her nieces Mary Rigate and Susan Taylor, a silver 6d each; her servant Richard Hawksley to have decent washing and lodging upon the premises where she now lives, if agreeable to the possessors, or to have £5; the remainder of her estate, real and personal, to William Bird.
On the back: to William Bird of St James Street, Offcote and Underwood, her messuage and farm at Woodhead, with all cattle, stock, crops etc.; her servant Richard Hawksley to have £5, to be paid 5 shillings quarterly.
