Description | To be buried in Brampton Church; to his wife Elizabeth Turner the house at Brampton wherein he now dwells with all closes etc. and all other his houses and lands at Brampton, for her life, so long as she remains unmarried; if she remarries, to have a moiety only for life and the other moiety to John, son of George Stones of Eckington, yeoman; after Elizabeth's death, the said premises to the said John Stones in tail general, for want of issue to his brother Christopher Stones in tail general and for want of issue to Robert Stones of Eckington, blacksmith, in fee simple; to the children of John Stones of Eckington deceased £10; to Robert Stones £10; to Symon Stones, brother of John and Robert, £10; to George Stones 20s; to each of his godchildren who demand it 12d; his wife to be executrix.
