Lease by William Hodgkinson of Overton, gentleman, James Hawksley and Thomas Milward of Handley, Thomas Hopkinson of Coldwell, John Beighton of Holmegate and William Revell of Scarcliffe, yeomen, to John Monk Morgan of Chesterfield, esquire, Thomas Clay of Higham, Humfrey Oldfield of Holmegate and William Wragg of Stretton Hall, yeomen, of a sixth part of the coal delph known as Clay Cross Coal Delph, within the manor of Stretton, so far as the delph can be worked on the common, for 10 years at £3 per annum
