Lease by Thomas Lucas of Chesterfield, gentleman to John Brocksopp of Stretton Hall, gentleman of beds of coal beneath closes at Hasland known as Crabtree Field, Great Field, Far Esps, Nether Esps, Upper Esps and the 3 Innerhill Closes, or as much as can be got by a level to be brought up by Brocksopp from Little Crabtree Field and Ox Close, for 20 years at £50 per annum plus £50 in every fifth year for each acre of coal got.
