Probate of William Clay of Shirland Park, esquire: to his housekeeper Mary Marriott, the bed wherein she sleeps with the bedding etc. and £300; to his friend William Drabble of Chesterfield, £10 for a mourning ring; to his brother John Wilkinson Clay, his farm called Shirland Park, with the land at Stonebroom (except Bee Meadow) with the remainder of his personal estate; to his sister, Elizabeth Taylor Barnes, the Bee Meadow, parish Alfreton, with all other his real estate. Will dated 12 April 1834. Proved at Derby.
