Will of Richard Clay of Higham, gentleman: to his wife Martha Clay, all his goods and chattels and all his household furniture not otherwise bequeathed with an annuity of £30 so long as she remain a widow; if she remarries an annuity of £10; when his children are 25 they are to receive their joint share of his property; to his son Richard Clay his writing desk; to his son Hemingway Clay, his watch and chest; J G Barnes, George Siddall of Higham and George Allsop of Higham to be his executors.
