Feoffment by Helen Stevenson of Ashgate, widow (daughter and co-heir of Thomas Doughtie of Ashgate deceased) to George Turner of Ashgate, yeoman and Raphe Rayneshaw of Chesterfield, carpenter, of a house and buildings and land at Ashgate, viz. 1 bay of building wherein Helen dwells, a barn and a moiety of the orchard, fold and garden, the Crofte, Gorsie Close and Little Crofte; to the use of Helen for life and then one moiety to the use of Thomas Atkinson and Jone his wife (daughter of Helen) and the other moiety to the use of Elizabeth Stevenson (daughter of Helen) and Myles Allyson whom she is presently to marry.
