D8042/1231
Title
Joseph Lyne to Edmund Barnes: Gorell ought to pay his mother at least £100 per year for board and lodging; will it be wise to give Gorell a statement of his share of his father's estate before it is finally divided? If so, we should sell 'Adam Sedgewick' and the landed property. The vessel's value is depreciating, and in event of disaster, or depressed freight rates, there could be a serious loss.
