| Administrative History | Staveley Schools Sports Association appears to have been/to be overseen by Hollingwood Primary School.
The Ernest Needham Trophy was given by Misses F & M Needham to be competed for by the Junior Schools in the Staveley district. it had been presented to their father, the late Ernest Needham, Captain of Sheffield United from 1897 to 1901, and International (16 caps).
Following an academy conversion agreement dated 30 June 2021, Hollingwood Primary School ceased to exist (see DCC/LG/CX/3938) Hollingwood Primary School ceased to exist, being replaced by an academy of the same name. |
