| Description | This project began in 1996 with some pilot sessions for children to learn circu skills during school summer holidays. The target audience was members of the Shirebrook Model Village Youth Section, and the original aim was to prepare a circus show, to be staged at Christmas. The "Shirebrook All-Stars" reconvened for further club sessions and performances in 1997 and 1998.
Papers in this file include: a project profile describing the idea, planning correspondence, grant for funds from the Single Regeneration Budget Community Development Resource, a contract for the services of tutor Mel Calladine, club attendance records, and a running order for a show given on 15 Dec 1997. |
