Description
By which for £1,400 paid by Holden to the Cowlishaws at the request of Robert Garner and John Garner, £600 paid by Holden to William Whiston the younger at the request of Robert and John Garner (both sums in discharge of mortgages) and £400 paid by Holden to Robert Garner at the request of John Garner, in all £2,400, William Whiston the younger, William Whiston the elder, and the Cowlishaws at the request of John and Robert Garner, and Robert and John Garner conveyed to Holden messuage with outbuildings, garden and homestead containing 2 acres 1r 34p and 3 closes called First, Middle and Top closes, together 18 acres 1r 2p in Aston, late in possession of Joseph Garner deceased but now late of Robert Garner and for 10s paid to Robert by John Garner and in consideration of John Garner's release above, Robert released John of the covenant and agreement for John to pay £1,400 to the Cowlishaws, to pay Robert 's debts and to provide him with food etc.
