Description
To wife Elizabeth Bladon Stables tenant right of farm in Etwall parish which he holds under landlord Robert Leaper Newton esquire, asking that Newton will accept her as tenant;
implements of husbandry, horses, carts etc farming stock absolutely;
use of household goods and furniture for life so long as she remains a widow;
messuage in St Werburgh parish, Derby, in the possession of Robert Clements for life or widowhood;
annuity of £100 for widowhood or £50 if she remarries;
to daughter Elizabeth 3/7 of 6 messuages with gardens in parish St Werburgh, Derby lately purchased from Thomas the younger, George Horatio and John Mart, share and share alike with any other children to be born, unless Eliza or any other children die under 21 without issue, in which case to wife for her life or widowhood, then to sisters Mary Smith and Ann Foster for life, then to their children and the children of late sisters Elizabeth Smith and Alice Mart;
all other real estate and money to friends James Kinsey of Derby maltster and John ?Watson of Willington farmer, in trust to pay annuity to wife, maintain last mentioned premises and invest for education and advancement of Eliza until 21 or marriage, then to pay her the proceeds of the estate, and after the death or 2nd marriage of Elizabeth and death of Eliza, in trust to sell the last mentioned messuages and divide the proceeds and the personal estate equally amongst Eliza's children (further detail) or if she has none, to stand seised of all real and personal estate in trust for Elizabeth Stables for life or widowhood, then in trust for sisters Mary Smith and Ann Foster for their lives, then to their children and the children of late sisters Elizabeth Smith and Alice Mart.
