In consideration that 2. has agreed to pay Thomas Ratcliff of Stanton iuxta pontem [Stanton by Bridge] farmer £50 which his father owes Ratcliff and that 2. shall after the death of his father and his wife Sarah, pay to Thomas, another of 1.'s sons, of Seany park, county Stafford, £30 and to Sarah wife of Edward Stephenson of Loughborough, county Leicester, farmer £10, to Ann wife of William Buller of Warwick bricklayer £10, and for 1.'s love for 2. and for settling the premises, and for 5s paid by 3. to 1., 1. conveyed to 3. 2 messuages in Aston in the occupation of widow Booker and John Whyman the elder, close called Cross Field Close in Aston in possession of John Whyman the elder containing 4 acres in trust for 1. and his wife Sarah for their lives, then to 2. his heirs and assigns for ever
