Descriptionby which for settling the premises and for 10s paid to 1. by 2., 1. covenanted to levy a fine to 2. of messuage in Aston late in possession of Thomas Smedley but now of Thomas Dakin and of meadow ground in Wilne and Shardlow in Aston parish, called Calver or Cover Pleck containing 1½ acres, possessed as the messuage, which were all purchased by William Smedley from Leonard Fosbrooke esquire, cottage on Aston Moor in possession of Thomas Wingfield, purchased by Smedley from John Simpson, messuage in Spondon, land sellion or ley of arable, meadow or pasture in Borrowash Field, 2 lands of arable containing ½ acres in Derby Field (positions given), all in Spondon and in possession of Richard Clifford, which fine is to enure to the uses as Thomas and Mary Dakin appoint, until, or in default of, such appointment, to the use of Thomas for life, then Mary for life, then to the uses of Thomas's will and finally to right heirs of Mary
