Exchange made between 1. the trustees of the Town's Lands of the Borough of Burton upon Trent (named), with the consent of 2. John Lord Bishop of Lichfield, and 3. Edward Anthony Holden of Aston esquire by which 1. with 2.'s consent conveyed to 3., 3 cottages and a butcher shop with barn and other buildings, yard, garden etc at Aston in the occupations of Samuel Perkins, Mary Perkins, Benjamin Maddon, James Hinckley and Thomas Martin, close called the Croft or Quay containing 2r. 15p., close of arable called the Moors 6 acres 3r 38p., close called Upper Long Croft 9 acres 1r 34p, close called Lower Long Croft 11 acres 16p, close called Horse Pasture 8 acres 3r 36p, all in Aston and in the occupation of E. A. Holden above

In consideration of which and for £100 paid by 1. to 3., Holden conveyed to the trustees closes of meadow called the Great Mytholme 24 acres 3r 10p. and Little Mytholme 10 acres 38p, parcel of land used as an osier bed 3r 38p, small piece of land gained from the River Trent, now used as a gravel pit, 1r 34p, all in the parish of Sawley and in the occupation of William Bennett, to hold for such charitable uses as the property conveyed by the trustees to Holden were held for
