DescriptionReciting deeds of 7 September 1841, 3 December 1841;
death of Mary Hickinbotham in 1842, intestate and unmarried, leaving her father Thomas entitled to her reversionary half part of premises below;
deeds of 25 and 26 August 1842, will of Thomas Hickinbotham dated 19 January 1843 in which he gave all his property to James Cowlishaw, since deceased, in trust for Ann Hickinbotham for life and the profits when the lands are sold for her benefit for life, then for her children;
Cowlishaw's will 17 February 1843 inter alia bequeathing his money to his nephews James and Joseph Hardy and appointing them executors;
his death 27 Feb. 1844;
that 1. and 2. have lately sold to E. A. Holden lands in Aston part of the hereditaments comprised in the indentures recited and out of the sale money have paid off £320 due upon mortgages, that the premises are subject to a lease to William Neep of Carrington, co. Nottingham farmer, for £2 10s 6d rent payable in respect of half the premises as the apportioned part of a rent of £85 1s (see D 779B/T 971) and witnessing that for £292 paid to 1. by 3., they conveyed to Holden (to which conveyance 2. agreed) ½
messuage, farm house or tenement in Aston, late in the occupation of Thomas Hickinbotham but now used as 2 dwellings in the occupation of William Neep and Ann Harpur, and barn, stable, shed, cowshed, farmyard and premises at back thereof, garden, orchard and other conveniences belonging.
