Description
Reciting that Rolleston by lease and release dated 10 and 11 July 1760 mortgaged to Shuttleworth for £100 a messuage in Aston divided into several dwellings and in the tenures of William Rolleston, Catherine Bancroft, Thomas Adams and Samuel Dakin, messuage and shop adjoining in Aston in the occupations of Hannah Roberts and Thomas Whitehead shoemaker, several pieces of arable dispersed in Cross Field, Alderslade Field and Ash Field containing 18 acres in occupation of Joseph Adams and Rolleston, close inclosed by Act of Parliament out of Aston Moor containing 3 acres in Joseph Adams' occupation, tithes of the close, 2 closes or pingles called Green Leys and Ball Close in Aston in possessions of Joseph Adams and Rolleston; that a further £300 was advanced by Shuttleworth to Rolleston; that by lease and release dated 10 and 11 July 1765 Rolleston for a further £153 12s and for £446 8s owing to Shuttleworth, mortgaged to the latter a messuage divided into several dwellings in tenures of Rolleston, Thomas Adams, Edward Gaskyn, Jonathan Whitehead and Samuel Daykin, messuage and adjoining shop in tenure of Thomas and Michael Whitehead, parcel lately inclosed by Act of Parliament, then divided into two, containing 23 acres in tenures of Rolleston and Robert Gaskyn, close containing 3 acres (as above) in Thomas Whitehead's occupation, close or pingle called Green Leys in William Jowett's occupation, all in Aston, and that Shuttleworth is now owed £738 6s 9d and has contracted to buy certain premises for £11 13s 3d and witnessing that for £738 6s 9d due to Shuttleworth and for £11 13s 3d the close containing 23 acres and the pingle called Green Leys (as above) were conveyed to Shuttleworth
