TitleCounterpart of lease for 2 lives by 1. John Rolleston of Great Wilne yeoman the elder to 2. Robert Soore of Aston yeoman and Dorothy his wife, for good causes and reasonable considerations, of 2 p'lors [? parlours], one croft enclosed containing one ley, lying between messuage in the occupation of Robert Cowper of Aston and messuage in the occupation of Robert Mee, 3 roods of arable in fields of Aston, gate and pasturing for one cow or beast yearly in common pastures of Aston either up or down whether shall be agreed upon by the inhabitants of the town of Aston, hovel standing in fold yard of messuage for the necessary use of the Soore's to set their kine under and to make their swine sty and to lay their `meynor' [?manure] on the backside of the said hovel, all of which are parcel of the messuage of John Rolleston and now in the tenure of Soore and Christopher son of Robert Soore, with access for Dorothy and Robert Soore for themselves and their cattle to the foldyard and to fetch water at the well there and for their necessary use, at 1d rent. When the Soores die, their executors and assigns may have any corn growing on the premises and may have benefit of the beastgate for that year.
