Title
Post-nuptial settlement by feoffment to uses by 1. Christopher Rolleston of Aston yeoman to 2. William Knyveton of Steynson, Barrow-upon-Trent, yeoman and William Kilburne of Castle Donington, county Leicester, yeoman, in consideration of a marriage already solemnised between Rolleston and Katherine, one of the daughters of Francis Kilburne of Burnaston, Etwall, yeoman, and of £80 paid to Rolleston for Katherine's marriage portion, of a messuage or tenement in Aston in which Rolleston lives with yard land, all other lands of him in Aston, to be held, as to half the premises to the use of Christopher and Katherine for their lives, then to the heirs of their bodies, remainder to Christopher's right heirs, and as to the other half of the premises, to the use of Christopher for life, then to Katherine until eldest male or female heir is 21, for the children's upbringing, or until Katherine remarries, with successive remainders to the heirs of their bodies, Katherine for life or until she remarries, and Christopher's right heirs.
