Copy of lease for 3 lives, dated 25 February 1730/1 by 1. William Higgs M.A. clerk and treasurer of Lichfield Cathedral and prebendary of the prebend of Sallow [Sawley], which is annexed to the treasureship, to 2. Edward Mundy of Allestree esquire and Zachary Hamlyn of Lincolns Inn gentleman, of the prebend, rectories, parsonages and churches of Sallow and Wilne with mansion place, houses. glebe land, rents, tithes etc. (excepting nomination of curate (s) and the ecclesiastical jurisdiction)

Description
For the lives of Reverend Henry Burvill clerk, late curate of Boxley, Kent, but now parson of Little Peckham, Kent, Reverend Henry Jodrell, rector of Ickenham, Middlesex, and Reverend - Daves clerk, parson of West Farley, Kent, at rent of £66. 13s 4d, Higgs to appoint curates, 2. to pay £40 per annum to curate, to repair chancels and parsonage houses and all buildings, except the curate's house, and to pay £11 annually (£2 6s 8d for stallage or stall money, £5 13s 4d for tenths, £2 16s 8d to reader or lecturer of Lichfield and 10s once in 3 years, for triennial procurations). Attornies for livery of seisin were Francis Colleire of Sawley clerk and George Wallis of Thulston yeoman.
