Description
Reciting lease for 40 years dated 26 May 13 Charles [1637] of inter alia the premises named below (see D 779B/T 46) , that Robert Houlden deceased purchased both the remainder of the term and the reversion of the premises, that the lease was assigned to Buxton and Wandell in trust for Robert Houlden, who conveyed the inheritance to his sons Samuel and John to sell, with the remainder of the term, to pay his debts, and witnessing that Buxton and Wandell, in execution of their trust and with John and Samuel's consent, for 5s. paid to Buxton and Wandell and £687 5s paid to Samuel and John Houlden, by Henry Houlden, the full sum for the purchase of both the remainder of the term and the reversion, assigned to Parker and Robert Houlden of Normanton in trust for Henry Houlden, 2 messuages in Weston in the occupations of William Smith and Richard Whittington, with buildings, gardens, lands belonging reputed to be 3 yardlands, lands, meadows and pastures in Weston in Henry Houlden's tenure containing 6 yardland and closes of land, meadow and pasture in Weston called Wyn Holme, Kiddey croft close, Conigree Close, meadow ground called Hollow Pyke, reserving thicke rushes Flatt, parcel of the premises, and common in the hollow or New Close in Weston
