Title
Indenture of release and quitclaim by John son of Hugh le Smith of Aston to Robert le Smith for the term of his life, of all John's right and claim to 9d annual rent in Aston which he ought to have from the said Robert for one messuage and one acre of land which Robert gave to John and likewise, John has released and quitclaimed to Robert for the term of Robert's life, his right in 5 roods of arable and 1 rood of meadow which John had by hereditary descent after his father's and mother's death which they had acquired from Robert son of William in le Hyrne. [hyrne is probably the same as hern or hirn meaning corner].
