Title
At court of Beaurep' [Belper] held at Duffeld Thursday 18 October 7 Henry VIII, Roger Gregory surrendered cottage and croft adjoining the said messuage in Belper to the use of Richard Souter and Alice Gregorye and the legitimate heirs of their bodies and one proclamation was made without claim (`sine reclam'): at court held at Ashleyhay, Thursday 8 November a second proclamation was made without claim, and at court held at Duffield, Thursday 29 November upon a third proclamation without claim Richard Souter and Alice Gregory were admitted to the cottage and croft to hold to them and the legitimate heirs of their bodies. Entry fine 16d.
