DescriptionReciting that the owners of a close called Humber holme on the north side of river `Darwent' in the lordship of Osmaston, now owned by Holden, have time out of mind paid to the constable of Alvaston and Boulton at Midsummer and Candlemas or one of them, 5 marks for the public occasions of the town, and that Allestrye for £58 paid to him by Holden has agreed to pay the 5 marks as it has usually been paid, and witnessing that, in consideration of the £58, Allestrye has bargained and sold to 3., trustees of the towns of Alvaston and Boulton, the rent of 5 marks to be payable out of the tythe barn and barn yard in Alvaston and out of the tithe corn of Alvaston and Boulton, which Allestrye has lately bought from Henry Sacheverall esquire, to be paid annually on Midsummer Day in the south porch of Alvaston Church.
