Title
Grant of right of way by 1. Sir John Stanhope of Elvaston and the lady Mary his wife and Charles Cotton of Nottingham esquire and Olive his wife to 2. Robert Houlden of Shardlow yeoman, in consideration of a grant hereafter specified, over a close the freehold of Sir John Stanhope in Spondon called the Parsons holme to close called Humberholme in lordship of Osmaston

Description
Also granting liberty to regain the way concerned; in consideration of this, Houlden granted to Sir John and his wife for their lives and after their deaths to Cotton and his wife and the heirs of Olive, liberty to enter Humberholme to make any waterwork and fleightering upon the banks of Humberholme adjoining the river `Darwent' necessary for the preservation of Parsons holme or of any waterwork now or hereafter made on the banks of Parsons holme and Humberholme adjoining to River Darwent.
