Counterpart bargain and sale and feoffment by 1. Robert Houlden of Aston gentleman and Richard Levis of Beeston, county Nottingham, yeoman to 2. John Soare of Shardlow yeoman, for £320 of yardland of arable, meadow and pasture ground, 10 beast or horse pastures and 50 sheepgates in the common fields of Wilne and Shardlow belonging to the Yard Land, piece of meadow called Wadd Flatt in Aston parish in possession of Robert Houlden, 3 doles of meadow ground "of" the East side of the Flatt in Aston parish towards a town called Sawley, trees and willows upon the premises, all in the tenure of Houlden or Nicholas Cowlishaw (one barn and stable, one fould yard in Wilne in which a dwelling house was heretofore standing and a close belonging called Wards Closse in Wilne containing 1½ acres with willows and trees in the close, parcel of the Yard Land and premises called part of Wards Yard Land, excepted)
