DescriptionConcerning the manors of Weston, Aston, Wilne, Shardlow, Morley and Smalley, Morley Park, 60 messuages, 20 cottages, 20 tofts, 1 windmill, 1 horse mill, 2 dovehouses, 20 gardens, 20 orchards, 2,000 acres land, 100 acres meadow, 1,000 acres pasture, 500 acres heath and furze, 500 acres common of pasture, free fishing in waters of Trent and Derwent, free warren, view of frankpledge, £10 rents, rent of 11b pepper, with appurtences, in above-named places and Kiddesley, advowsons of Weston, Aston and Morley, by which William and Anne conceded to Richard and Robert a rent of £50 issuing from the above premises, and acknowledged the premises to be the right of Thomas and quitclaimed them to Thomas, George and the heirs of Thomas, and for the aforesaid, Richard and Robert conceded the rent of £50 to William for his life, then successively to his executors and assigns for 15 years, to Charles Pagett, William's third son, and the lawful heirs male of his body, to Henry Pagett knight son and heir apparent of William and the lawful heirs male of his body, to Thomas, William's second son and lawful heirs male of his body, to lawful heirs male of William's body, to Etheldreda wife of Christopher Alen knight, Anne wife of Henry Lee knight, Jane, Elianora, Dorothy and Grisilda Pagett, daughters of William for their lives, and to William's right heirs, and for the aforesaid quitclaim, fine and concord, Thomas and George conceded to William the properties above named for the life of William without impeachment of waste, with successive remainders to the executors and assigns of William for 15 years, to Charles his third son for life, to Henry his first son and lawful heirs made of his body, to heirs male of the bodies of William and Anne, to their daughters (as above) for their lives, and right heirs of William.
