Bargain and sale made between 1. Edward Earl of Dorset and 2. Robert Houlden of Shardlow gentleman, Henry his eldest son, Richard Leavis of Risley yeoman and Thomas Rowe of London mercer, by which for £3,436 5s 4d paid by Robert and Henry Houlden the Earl of Dorset conveyed at Robert Houlden's direction to Henry Houlden, Leavis and Roe, premises as in D 779B/T 209 (given in slightly different order and with some differences in spelling).
