Robert Houlden of Shardlow gentleman, for £240, of Aston Hall in the tenure of Houlden, dovecote, garden, 2 orchards, malt mill, conygree, all buildings adjoining, 6 cottages in tenure of Margaret Parker widow, Robert Clifford, Hugh Barton, Thomas Cowley, Thomas Raske and Robert Hall, closes called the Hall Hey and the Weete Close, 5½ yard land of arable containing 240 acres in the fields of Aston, 20 acres of meadow and pasture, with all lands of Anne Hunt in Aston, Weston, Wilne or Shardlow
