Inside the title is "Inventory of the Household Furniture Plate Books &c &c of the late Robert Holden Esquire of Darley Abbey"
Contains a room by room inventory of all household furniture with values, list of plate, list of books sub-divided by size, usually giving dates, and a catalogue of pictures and prints, room by room, signed by Robert Holden and Richard Murphy, Joint Executors
At the end is a declaration by Robert Holden that the next person who possesses Darley Abbey under the will of his late relation Robt Holden esquire (died 25 Apr 1808) may choose furniture out of the house equal in value to the furniture now in it, to which Holden consents on being allowed to change the present furniture. He promises that the value of it shall not at any time be less than the present value of the furniture, being an heirloom. The pictures are not to be removed.
