Bundle of papers concerning the marriage settlement of Caroline Shuttleworth Holden of Aston Hall spinster and Charles (John) Leslie Lovett Cameron of Merton College, Oxford, and of Eton College esquire, M.A., including:
D 779B/F 83-4, 101 Papers concerning Cameron's life assurances.
D 779B/F 87-96 Copy of the will of Miss Elizabeth Moore (made 5 March 1867, proved 2 April 1869), other papers and accounts (1864-1876) and copy draft release from Miss C S Holden, concerning the latter's legacies under the wills of her greataunts, Miss Catherine (will dated 25 May 1852, proved 3 July 1863) and Miss Elizabeth Moore, both of Appley, county Leicester.
D 779B/F 99-100 draft marriage settlements, settling £3,000 belonging to Miss Holden (of which £800 was a gift from her father, Edward Anthony Holden of Aston Hall esquire), £4,000 promised to her on her parents' deaths (£100 per annum in the meanwhile to be paid to the trustees of the settlement), and Cameron's insurance policies of £2,000, £3,000 and £2,000.
