Title
Account, headed 17 May 1726, received of Thomas Holmes £825 10s which W Busby promises to pay with interest on demand
Date
1724-1730
Description
The heading perhaps a copy as it is said that upon the back of which note is endorsed 21 December 1727 received all interest due Tho Holmes.
One part of the account refers to loan on 17 August 1725 of £1,000 to Busby, reduced to £825, and is an account of interest and tax paid, 1727-1730.
The second part is an account of payments [by Busby] to Thomas Bonsall and Mr Holmes;
of interest; for loads of salt, rent of Belton tithe, 1724-1730.
Endorsed with a note concerning £80, apparently in dispute between Holmes and Busby.
