Description | to son John ½ messuage, ½ buildings belonging, 2 crofts adjoining highway leading to Leeshill, ½ croft between the Ox Close and the Highway, John paying to Ellen, Humphrey's wife, £10 and to Humphrey's sons Samuel and George £10 each; if the £30 is not paid the lands are bequeathed to Humphrey and William, testator's sons, to raise the money, then the lands are to go to John; to Humphrey and William, 2 parcels of land called Gutter Croft and the Croft in which testator's son Robert's house stands and the other half of the croft between the Ox Close and the Highway and of the messuage and buildings belonging; Humphrey and William are to pay £30 (sic); to William one feather bed and furniture; to wife Ellen the bed she made and furniture, all the linen she has made, 2 brewing toobs, 1 cheese tub, the chair with arms, 2 pewter dishes, one ?boute and one goane, her own chest and boxes, dresser in the Back-house; to son Robert 12d; if Ellen makes any claim to the messuage or lands all that is bequeathed her is to remain to sons Humphrey and William.
