Title
Release of mortgage term in trust to attend the inheritance made between 1. Samuel Collins of Coventry gentleman, executor of the will of Samuel Collins late of the same Alderman deceased 2. Robert Whadcock of "Rudgley" [Rugeley], Staffordshire gentleman, 3. Simon Whadcock citizen and haberdasher of hats of London and Humphrey Whadcock of Birchley Place, Corley, Warwickshire, gentleman

Reciting
- that on 29 September 1707 William Whadcock, then of Fillongley, gentleman since deceased mortgaged for £160 to Samuel Collins deceased 3 closes called the Three Spon grounds or Spon fields lying near the lane from Fillongley Church by the Butts towards Corley (giving detailed description of position of each field) being part of the Five Spon Fields or grounds and containing 17 acres;
- that Robert Whadcock on marriage with wife Elizabeth settled messuage in Fillongley called the Hollow Oak house and several closes adjoining called Lime Kilne field, Orchard Close, Barn field and the Great Meadow (reciting settlement terms), which property Simon Whadcock has purchased;
- that Robert and Elizabeth have no children but could still have children, therefore it was agreed that the Three Spon grounds should be conveyed to Simon Whadcock as collateral security to indemnify the purchased estate against the demands of possible issue of the marriage;
- that by release of 15, 16 November last the conveyance was made with the proviso that Robert Whadcock should enjoy the profits of the fields whilst Simon was undisturbed in his enjoyment of the purchased premises, and that this indenture should be void and delivered up to Robert on Elizabeth's death without heirs by him, and witnessing that for £177 13s paid by Robert Whadcock to Samuel Collins, the latter assigned the mortgage term of 500 years in the Three Spon grounds to Humphrey Whadcock in trust for Simon to wait upon the inheritance but subject to provisoes of deeds of 15, 16 November last recited above, and Robert Whadcock released the term likewise.
