Parish of Elton All Saints
Administrative History
Like Winster, (see D776), Elton was a chapelry of Youlgreave until the nineteenth century. The church was re-built 1812-16, on the site of the old church. The registers were badly damaged in a fire at the vicarage in 1871, and some survivals are only fragmentary.
Custodial History
These records were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office in March 1970, July and October 1986 and June 1990.
