Benjamin Sayle of Sheffield esq, and John Smith of Aldercar Park clerk, by which Elizabeth Mary Smith has released to Sayle and John Smith (trustee), capital messuage called Woodseats in the hamlet of Barlow with closes, plant ations belonging 84a, Milthorpe Farm in Holmesfield and Barlow 66a, messuage or mansion house with several closes in Dronfield, Highgate Farm in Dronfield, 19a, closes of land in Unstone and Dronfield called Smithy Falls, 47a, messuage and building heretofore used as a water corn mill now used as a grinding wheel with the dam goits and several closes in Unstone and Dronfield, 12a, messuages used as a public house in Unstone, also several pieces of land in Shaftholm Field in the parish of Arksey, Yorkshire, (details given), several closes and pieces of land in Alnholm Field, parish of Arksey, (details given), also several closes or pieces of land in the Wood Field of Arksey, (details given), messuage and close called the Homestead at Almholm, the Hester Croft, New Almholm Croft, Far Almholm Croft, Stone Pit, Stonepit Lane, Common Close, land (details given) in Mastale Field, Bently Ings, Arksey Ings, closes in the township of Eccleshall, in the parish of Sheffield, Lay Close, New Carr, Middle Carr, Far End Carr, the Pear Storth, and the Common Allotment, to be held on several trusts. Also John Frederick Smith and Elizabeth Mary Smith have agreed to surrender to the manor court of the Manor of Holmesfield a copyhold messuage and several closes in Holmesfield, namely, the Berny Hill, White Leys, Far Parkin Field, New Parkin Field, Little Oaks, Broad Meadow, Round Meadow, Great Brond Wood, Little Brond Wood, Far Holme, New Holme, Watering Close, Pingle, and Nether Pasture, dwelling house and garden, Nether Croft, Over Pasture, Great Oaks, and Upper Croft. Also assignment by Elizabeth Mary Smith to Sayle and Smith of all the quick and dead stock, implements of husbandry and all the household goods belonging to her. Sayle and Smith to hold all the premises upon trust from Elizabeth Smith until the marriage, then to reconvey the same to such uses as Elizabeth Smith shall appoint. 19 May 1818.
