Title
Sir Thomas Gresley 2nd Baronet (1629-1699)
Description
He was too young to be prominent in the Civil War, during which his father died, and did not succeed to the Baronetcy til the death of his grandfather early in Feb 1650/1. He was a country gentleman, now disputing with the Pagets of Beaudesert about a weir at Burton, now appointed Sheriff of Derbyshire, and Deputy of the Master of the Royal Leash for ten miles around Drakelowe.
