Archive Reference / Library Class No. | D77/1/74 |
Title | Norton Heath, [Leicestershire] |
Date | [1272-1367] |
Description | It is not clear where Norton Heath is located. These deeds possibly relate to Norton by Twycross (also Norton-juxta-Twycross) which is close to both Austrey, Warwickshire and Appleby Magna, Leicestershire both of which are mentioned in this series of deeds. There is a No Man's Heath, Warwickshire just north of Austrey, but it is felt unlikely to be this location as the documents clearly read Norton. |
